Journeyman Plumber License
The licence to work as a plumber in your own right rather than under supervision, earned through documented supervised hours and a code exam written against the plumbing code your jurisdiction has adopted. There is no national plumbing licence: the issuing authority is a state board in most states, a state health department in Illinois, a city in places like Chicago, and in California there is no individual plumber licence at all.
