Elevator Constructor, Start to Finish
Elevator work is a closed shop in the best sense: the machines are unlike anything else on a site, the code is its own world, and the way in is an apprenticeship rather than an exam you can book. This path teaches the machine first (traction, hydraulic, controllers, safeties), then the service and inspection discipline the job is actually made of, and closes on the credential ladder: the NEIEP apprenticeship, the CET track, QEI inspection, and the state licenses layered on top.
Goal credential: Certified Elevator Technician (CET)
