Erection
- Structural Steel Basics
Steel erection is the rigging, hoisting, placing, connecting, guying, bracing, welding and bolting of a structure's frame, and OSHA defines exactly which activities count.

Erection drawings are not a suggestion: OSHA measures a connection against the size and strength of the bolts shown on them.
