Exam and eligibility details
TSBPE requires the applicant to be currently licensed as a Journeyman Plumber in Texas or another state and to have held that licence for at least two years. Alternative routes exist, including one year of Journeyman experience combined with an approved apprenticeship program, and routes for out-of-state Master credentials. Renewal fee $75; late renewal fee for a licence expired less than 90 days is $37.50.
