TAB Certification (TABB, NEBB, AABC)
Testing, adjusting and balancing certification for individuals. Three separate bodies certify in this discipline: TABB (issued through the International Certification Board), NEBB and AABC. Each runs its own two-tier ladder and none of them recognise each other's cards.

Variants
- TABB Certified Technician
The working TAB certification issued through the International Certification Board. Technicians perform the testing and prepare reports, which a TABB certified supervisor then reviews.
- TABB Certified Supervisor
The senior TABB certification. Supervisors review and sign off the reports TABB technicians prepare, and TABB technicians work under one.
- NEBB Certified Technician (TAB)
NEBB's technician-level personnel certification in the Testing, Adjusting and Balancing discipline, held by someone working under the guidance of a NEBB Certified Professional.
- NEBB Certified Professional (TAB)
NEBB's senior personnel certification in Testing, Adjusting and Balancing. Only NEBB Certified Professionals working for certified firms may authenticate official reports, and a firm needs one to hold NEBB Firm Certification in the discipline.
- AABC Test and Balance Technician (TBT)
AABC's technician-level certification, requiring air and water balancing competence and work performed to the AABC National Standards. It is open only to employees of approved AABC member companies.
- AABC Test and Balance Engineer (TBE)
AABC's senior certification. The TBE oversees a company's technical operations, certifies test and balance reports, and supervises technicians. Every AABC member agency must have at least one on staff.
