Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI)
Inspector designation certified against the ASME QEI-1 Standard for the Qualification of Elevator Inspectors by ANAB-accredited bodies, including NAESA International and NAEC. Requires documented training and at least one year of experience performing or witnessing A17.1/CSA B44 inspections and tests, a proctored exam, and about 10 hours (1.0 CEU) of continuing education per renewal.
